Bill Babcock to become CFO

Chief Financial Officer, PartnerRe Ltd. 

Mr. Babcock, who has 20 years of professional experience, both in public accounting and the reinsurance industry, has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2010. In this role, Mr. Babcock assumes responsibility for all aspects of the Company’s financial operations. This includes financial reporting and control, treasury and capital management, and tax as well as investor relations. Prior to this appointment, he was PartnerRe’s Group Finance Director. Mr. Babcock succeeds Albert Benchimol, who will be leaving the Company effective December 31, 2010.
