Paul Hazel, Head of Facultative Onshore Energy, PartnerRe Global

Effective October 15, 2011 Paul Hazel has been appointed to the new position of Head of Facultative Onshore Energy, reporting to Dom Tobey, Head of PartnerRe’s Facultative Business Unit. Previously, Paul held the position of Onshore Team Leader Zurich, Facultative Energy. Prior to joining PartenerRe in 2008, Paul held positions at Munich Re and Royal & Sun Alliance in the U.K.

Thomas McCallum
Thomas McCallum, Vice President, Specialty Lines Surety & Credit Underwriter, PartnerRe U.S.

Tom McCallum joins PartnerRe U.S. as Vice President, Specialty Lines Surety & Credit Underwriter reporting to Rich Meyerholz, Senior Vice President, Specialty Lines. Tom is based in our Toronto office. His primary responsibilities include the production and underwriting of all Canadian and a select number of U.S. Specialty Lines, Surety & Fidelity business. Tom previously worked for Travelers Canada where he held the role of Vice President. He has also previously worked for Swiss Re, SVP Head of Underwriting Services. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Michael Ricci
Michael Ricci, Vice President, Senior Underwriter, PartnerRe U.S.

Mike Ricci joins PartnerRe U.S. as Vice President, Senior Underwriter effective July 2011. His primary responsibilities include the coordination and management for the New Product Development initiative for PartnerRe North America. Mike was previously a Vice President at ProSight Specialty Insurance (formerly New York Marine and General Insurance Company). He has also worked for Montpelier US, White Mountains Re, and NAC Reinsurance Corporation. He holds a Jurist Doctorate degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Maritime College, State University of New York. Mike reports to Dick Sanford, Executive Vice President and BU Manager for Specialty Lines for PartnerRe North America.
