Today, U.S. corporations, professionals and individuals face an array of challenging third party liability exposures. At PartnerRe, we understand the value of open communication through the underwriting process. The Specialty Casualty team works with our clients and intermediaries through face-to-face discussions, site visits, and underwriting and file reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying exposures and their complexity. In return, we openly discuss the approach we have taken to evaluate and underwrite each treaty, with a goal to providing the most appropriate reinsurance coverage.

Our target clients are both specialty carriers and dedicated departments in U.S. and Bermuda-based insurance companies. We provide treaty reinsurance coverage for: professional liability, medical malpractice, hospital professional liability, directors and officers, miscellaneous errors and omissions, umbrella, environmental, excess casualty, governmental entity, excess and surplus lines casualty, worker's compensation, fiduciary, clash, product liability, and employment practices liability.

All treaty and facultative business outside of the U.S. is written by our Global (Non-U.S.) Specialty Casualty unit.
