As one of the world's leading catastrophe reinsurers, PartnerRe has a Business Unit dedicated strictly to the underwriting of worldwide catastrophe contracts. This unit, under central management, operates out of two locations, one in Bermuda and the other in Zurich. In Bermuda, contracts are underwritten for our U.S., Canadian, U.K., and Irish clients. In Zurich, underwriting services are carried out for our clients in all other markets around the world.
